Poindexter Weed Pull

Join us May 27th from 2:30- 4:45 pm for a community weed pull! Poindexter slough is known as a community fishing site and a great spot to take your dogs but currently Hound’s tongue is taking over and we cannot fight it without your help. Hound’s tongue sticks to clothes and dogs making it a meness to society, spreading extremely fast. On Tuesday May 27th at 2:30 pm we are gathering at the lower Poindexter fishing access, we will have bags, extra water, and cookies. You will need gloves, a water bottle and a can do attitude: we can teach you what hound’s tongue seeds look like and how to easily remove then.
